.......CAN WE BUY A YACHT?? That's Romana with me, near all the magnificent boats and yachts in the harbor in Nettuno. And that's Settimio below, of course. Again, his family calls him "Mimmo" for short, as I once did, but now I prefer "Settimio". It sounds prettier, and comes from the word, "Settimo" which means "SEVENTH", and that's appropriate because he was actually the 7th son born (and last child, period). (Of course, as mentioned elsewhere, his 6 baby brothers before him all died by the age of 2 of diseases during the WWII years, when there was little money for doctors or medicines, apparently. He was the lucky one!!




Sonia & Claudio are pictured above with a nice view of the harbor below. It sure WOULD be nice to own that yacht near me, where I'm sitting on the rocks -- YES, THAT ONE!
