.......Allow me to introduce you again to the family, for any late-comers or for anyone who forgot their names. From Left to Right:
ROMANA, Settimio's sister (who hated having her picture taken), SILVIA (our niece), SONIA (our daughter), CLAUDIO (Sonia's husband), SETTIMIO (my husband), MAURIZIO (Irene's son, half hidden), IRENE, (Settimio's older sister), and SARA - right front, (our other niece - Sonia's cousin).

ANTONIO, my brother-in-law and husband of Romana, is not at the table this time, since he often works 10 hours a day at one of his 2 grocery stores, and I believe was late coming home this evening. One of his stores, by the way, has been robbed 3 times, including just a few days after we left Italy, but luckily the police this time were able to recover the safe still full of money! (Unfortunately the robbers got away.) Irene's summer house at the sea near Anzio also gets robbed routinely when the family is away during the winter months, (as it did the past 15 years in a row! - YES, you read that right!) ITALY, like so many other countries, including the USA, has a HUGE problem with crime of this sort, and even VIOLENT crimes are increasing at an alarming rate everywhere in Italy, because of (Italians say) the hoards of illegal immigrants that have entered the country.. I remember decades ago, Italy was quite a safe country when it came to violence.....(notwithstanding the the occasional Mafia hit, of course!)
