........Our friend Marco who took off from work yet another day to spend some time with us... (He said he gets paid either way!) He is the sweetest and kindest guy you could ever meet! Here we're still in Trastevere, an even more ancient and very famous and popular Rome neighborhood, next to the Italian/Spanish restaurant where we dined later that evening with Settimio's family. ( The one Irene treated 11 family members to, and I related the story about what happened there above)! There is a much better picture of the restaurant below too, (the one almost totally covered in green vines) where Marco is seen walking up to the entrance.

......Also pictured is another little Piazza or Square in Trastevere, very nearby the restaurant......But CHECK OUT one of the many cats that one sees sleeping in the sun on top of cars, a picture I entitled, "CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF"! : -) His buddy was sleeping nearby.
