......We only had one day left in Rome, and we couldn't leave the "Eternal City" without seeing it from the top of Pincio, which is a very large park above Piazza del Popolo. This statue is on one end of the piazza, right near the steps that begin the long climb to the top, and luckily we were in good shape from all that walking all week, so we all made it with only one rest stop. We were rewarded with some magnificent views of Rome at the top and along the way. So this ends our pictures of Rome, and as many as there were, I had a tough time selecting the best ones for my Blog, without being too repetitious. Keep scrolling down, if your eyeballs will hold up, because our visit with family in NETTUNO is next, then VENICE!! YOU CAN'T MISS VENICE! ---It's the Coolest place in the world, as well as the Wet-est!), and finally, our last "port of call" we stopped at---ANZIO, YEP, another port city. (And I'm sorry to say, another shockingly expensive restaurant there too - Poor Irene, again!!) :-(
