.....Settimio too, dressed for comfort and the often wet weather, and Sonia and Claudio (who met us in Venice later, after their trip to Spain) joked a lot about how he SO resembled the scary fisherman killer in the "Scream" movies! He did! Just by his coat, (borrowed from his brother-in-law) of course, when it was all buttoned up and the hood pulled up. It was a most errie effect against the backdrop of the canals at night.

Anyway .....we were all set, rain or shine, to explore Venice, and here are more of the pictures we took. Sonia and Claudio took way more than we did (if that's possible!), but they still haven't sent them to us! Again, I wouldn't blame anyone reading my Blog if they wanted to skip the long narrative in most of these posts, but I wanted to create as full an account of our trip as possible, as a sort of Journal for us too, and for that purpose I needed to write a lot!
